About Me

I was born in South Vietnam before the Communists took over in 1975. Fortunately, I came to the United States as a refugee on April 26, 1975. My brothers and I settled in a rural town in Tennessee in August of that year. A few weeks after arriving, I enrolled in Lebanon High School. I started working in January 1976 while attending school and did not stop working until early 2025.

In the summer of 1976, my brother and one of his friends took me to travel by car to visit their friends in Oklahoma and Iowa, while passing through several midwestern states. That was the first time I realized the vast and plentiful United States has to offer. The beauty of the landscapes, the warmth of the people, and the diversity of cultures I encountered on that journey left a lasting impression on me. Consequently, I was bitten by the travel bug from that road trip.

I've been lucky to travel to many amazing places over the years! In early 2025, I decided to step back from work and focus on my family, travel, and my passion for photography. One of my goals is to capture the beautiful sights around me and share those photos with my friends and family. Photography has become my way of expressing my love for the world's beauty!

On this website, I hope you will find the images as interesting as I see them through my lens and enjoy them as much as I captured them. Feel free to contact me by email to ask questions. Please share your comments, regardless of whether they are negative.
